A former award winning stand-up comedian and the best thing to come out of Royston since a Yorkshire Traction bus, Danny Oakes has been ,since 2002,part of the highly successful and award winning Hirsty's Daily Dose team alongside JoJo Kelly and presenter Simon Hirst.

Prior to this,Danny was part of the successful "Hirsty's Morning Glory" team at Viking FM in Hull (as "Pimp Daddy Dogg"),alongside Hirsty,Jamie York,and Darren Lethem.

His loves include Liverpool FC,the female form and cars.
